Suwon Hwaseong FortressHwaseong Fortress in Suwon, built in 1796, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although parts of it were damaged during the Korean War, it has been perfectly restored to its original form. Here, I’d love to share with you the political background and hidden stories of Korea from that time. We’ll visit Janganmun Gate, Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion, and Hwaseomun Gate. If walking feels difficult, we can drive between the sites to minimize walking and make the tour more comfortable.
