This ~18-mile e-bike tour is a relaxed, scenic way to experience Golden and the Clear Creek corridor, combining easy riding with great food, drinks, and mountain-town views. We start in the Lakota Hills neighborhood and roll through town into Clear Creek Canyon, where the path follows rushing water, red rock walls, and shaded cottonwoods before looping back into Golden.
Along the way, the ride isn’t just about the route—it’s about the stops. We’ll refuel at riverside patios like The Eddy Taproom & Hotel, continue to the lively Golden Mill with its food hall vibe and mountain views, and finish downtown at Wrigley’s Chicago Grill for pizza, sliders, and dessert if anyone wants to wrap things up sweet.
It’s an easygoing ride designed for sightseeing as much as cycling—mixing foothill scenery, creekside paths, North and South Table Mountain backdrops, and a steady flow of casual stops that make the miles feel light and the experience memorable.

- At Golden mill - A mix of tacos and fried plantains and or sushi depending on group size, but sushi usually takes to long to order if its too busy on some days

Meeting point
Here is a gravel parking lot across the street from the storage facility where the bikes are located. You can park there and cross the street and you'll see me at storage facility getting bikes out. If you take an uber you can take it directly to Colfax West Self Storage.

After we get ebikes and helmets we’ll start the tour rolling through the Lakota Hills neighborhood, a quiet residential area with winding streets, foothill views, and that early stretch of calm riding to warm up the legs. From there, we’ll continue into downtown Golden, connecting with Clear Creek as we make your way toward The Eddy Taproom and Hotel for your first stop along the river.

The Eddy Taproom and Hotel is your first stop on the bike tour along Clear Creek, a laid-back riverside taproom and hotel in downtown Golden with a big patio right by the water. It’s a casual place to refuel where we’ll grab items like fried chicken drumsticks with chipotle-brown sugar sauce, peanuts & bleu cheese, or classic BBQ-style plates before continuing the ride through the canyon.

Clear Creek Canyon has a scenic paved bike path that follows the rushing creek as it winds through the canyon west of Golden. The ride passes steep rock walls, small beaches and picnic spots, shaded cottonwood trees, and views of the water cutting through the rugged canyon landscape, making it feel surprisingly peaceful just minutes from town.

Golden Mill is a lively food hall and bar right on Clear Creek in downtown Golden, making it a perfect post-ride stop after coming through Clear Creek Canyon. From the patio, you get wide-open views of North and South Table Mountain rising above the town, along with a clear look toward the nearby Coors Brewery complex, all while relaxing with tacos, chicken bites, or sushi in a casual, social setting.

Coors BreweryCoors Brewery sits in the middle of Golden at the base of the foothills, surrounded by the flat-topped cliffs of North and South Table Mountain. From the outside, the brewery is a long stretch of brick industrial buildings and silver tanks tucked into the valley, with a large colorful mural painted across part of the front adding some character against the dramatic mesa backdrop. From here we head back to Wrigley's Chicago Grill for your last stop.

Wrigley’s Chicago Grill is your final stop on the bike tour, a casual downtown spot known for Chicago-style comfort food in a relaxed, neighborhood setting. We’ll wrap up the ride here with pizza, sliders, and—if anyone’s still hungry—dessert, making it an easy place to wind down after a full day along Clear Creek and through Golden.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
