Fremantle must be the most perfect location for an electric bike tour in Australia, with
an abundance of bike lanes, leafy streets and history. The other thing about Fremantle is
that it is relatively spread out, so to see all of the sites and get an appreciation of the
area you really need a bike.
Perth Electric Bike Tours is run in conjunction with our shop Perth Electric Bikes, right in
the heart of Freo at the corner of Adelaide and Point streets. This means that we have an
a large selection of new and perfectly maintained electric bikes and all the appropriate
safety gear. Riding an electric bike is as easy as riding a regular bike, but without the
effort, any level of fitness can do this tour.

  • Our tour starts at Perth Electric Bikes, located at the corner of Adelaide and Point streets in the heart of Fremantle. Here, you'll be fitted with a perfectly maintained electric bike and all necessary safety gear. Riding an electric bike is effortless, making this tour accessible for any fitness level.
  • St Patrick's Basilica
    Boys School and Basilica Leaving the shop, we're immediately immersed in Fremantle’s architecture and history. The convict-built Boys School is on our doorstep, opposite the stunning Basilica.
  • Train Station and Original Shoreline Trail A short ride takes us to the Train Station, where we follow the original shoreline trail. This trail showcases the historic development of Fremantle and its relationship with the sea. (pass by)
  • The port is central to Western Australia’s history. At the CY O’Connor statue, we'll discuss the engineer's significant contributions and the post-war migrant anxieties depicted in the nearby installation.
  • WA Maritime Museum
    Gage Roads Brewery and Maritime Museum Next, we visit Gage Roads Brewery and the Maritime Museum. The laneways here reveal stories of Fremantle’s WWII submarine base, with views of the HMAS Ovens.
  • The Fremantle Round House
    The Round House and Whalers Tunnel We pass The Round House and stand at the entrance of the Whalers Tunnel. Nearby at Bathers Beach, we see the remains of the original jetty where Captain Fremantle landed, with Challenger Harbour next door.
  • Pedal through this lush green park, a perfect spot for a leisurely ride amidst towering Norfolk Pines. (pass by)

  • Bon Scott Statue and South Beach Fremantle’s favorite son, Bon Scott of ACDC, is honored with a life-size bronze statue. We then stretch our legs on a ride past South Beach, following a scenic bike path to the aquatic sculpture of CY on his horse. (pass by)
  • C.Y O'Connor Beach
    C.Y. O'Connor Beach is a relaxed, dog-friendly spot known for its golden sands, clear waters, and snorkeling around a unique offshore statue of engineer C.Y. O'Connor.
  • Fremantle War Memorial
