Start your day with a pickup from your Hotel in Medan City , driving about 3 hours , after arrived in Bukit Lawang , Walk towards the border of the Gunung Leuser National Park. During your trek, have a great chance of observing a wide variety of wildlife. Your guide will point out all plant species and animals you encounter in the rainforest. Look for orangutans, gibbons, Thomas leaf monkeys, Sumatran Great Argus, pigtail macaques, flying squirrels, and hornbills. The main goal of this trek is to see orangutans in their natural habitat. Watch them play, go from tree to tree, and observe them doing everyday activities. Learn how orangutans live and survive. Take amazing photos and have an experience of a lifetime. After lunch, continue your trek for around 3 hours more to get back to the Finish Point . Choose to make your way back to the Finish Point walking through the jungle or be brought back by a jungle taxi, a tube rafting down the Bohorok River (surcharge).
