Candi Mendut (Temple)Built around 7 century , Mendut is the older than Borobudur temple Many people still use for praying untill now,the temple was built and finished during the reign of King Indra of Sailendra dynasty. The inscription dated 7 Century mentioned that King Indra of Sailendra has built a sacred building named Venuvana which means "bamboo forest. We will find 3 big statue of Buddha at Mendut temple Cahyawuni Bodhisattvas (Buddhist divinities), such as Avalokitesvara, Vajrapani.
