After arriving the Mt. Fuji area, visit the peaceful Hakone Shrine, enjoy a relaxing cruise on Lake Ashi, and take the Hakone Ropeway for spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and, on clear days, Mt. Fuji.
The ropeway leads to Owakudani, an active volcanic valley famous for its steaming vents and rugged terrain. The tour concludes at Oshino Hakkai, a traditional village featuring eight crystal-clear ponds fed by Mt. Fuji's snowmelt.
