Thousands of years ago , the depths of the earth cracked open ,releasing lava that came through the water and created perfect and huge hexagonal stripes of hard ,dark rocks. This rare piece of historical and mineral wealth has existed way before humans even appeared in Milos . Can you imagine how many generations have had the privilege of witnessing this monument?

Old sulphur mines . A very interesting place, which makes you want to take so many pictures , as it was built on a gorge and it feels very mysterious . It was abandoned in a day and the workers left all of their tools and belongings as if they were coming back the next day but never did they again...

GerakasThe perlite mines that are right on top of that amazing and spectacular bay , is actually what makes this place so incredibly beautiful . The water is so transparent and green and you can see that white sanded bottom and the steep cliffs surrounding it as if embracing it.

Kleftiko BeachKleftiko is truly a blessing for those who love swimming and diving ! Even if all you wish to do is stare at these thousand years old rocks , time is never enough for this masterpiece. Lets talk about the pirate stories now...
