The Pyramids Of GizaYour qualified Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at morning and drive you in air-conditioned comfort to the Pyramids of Giza. Witness the three largest pyramids, built by the pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, admire the half-lion, half-human Sphinx, and visit the Valley Temple, where Khafre's body was likely prepared for mummification. (Please note that if you want to enter one of the pyramids an additional fee is payable: your guide can help you arrange this.) After an early lunch at a local restaurant , you'll drive downtown, to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, home to around 250,000 Egyptian antiquities. (Please note that entry to the Royal Mummy Room is not included in the ticket.) On the way, you'll pass by Tahrir Square. After the museum you will see Islamic Cairo. Discover the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, Egypt's oldest and perhaps most colorful souk, and much more. Your driver will drop you at your hotel before dark
