Overview
Visit Hoa Lu, Temple King Dinh, Temple King Le, and Tam Coc on this full day guided tour.
You will start at Ninh Binh (about a two hour drive). Enjoy the beautiful roadside scenery on the way before arriving in Ninh Binh city. First, you will pay a visit to Hoa Lu – the ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam. After that you will visit two temples - Temple King Dinh and Temple King Le - where you will be able to admire unique architecture from ancient times. Later, you will continue to Tam Coc and have lunch at a restaurant where many local delicacies are served before boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc. The boat trip will take about two and a half hours. Once in Tam Coc you will have views of majestic limestone cliffs, mysterious caves, and landscapes featuring peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields. Out in the open air at this peaceful destination there will be many photo opportunities. If time permits, you can also visit Bich Dong pagoda nearby and climb up the mountain to enjoy the wonderful views of Bich Dong and Tam Coc.
You will return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
