It is believed that the back spine area of Sati’s corpse fell here creating the presence of kundalini sakthi in the region. It is also one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Then, pay a visit to the Gandhi Memorial, beautifully perched at the end of the land. Shaped in the form of an Odishi Temple, perfectly imagined by Christian, Hindu, and Muslim architects, the memorial is one of the most famous attractions of Kanyakumari.
