The Voortrekker MonumentThis magnificent monument showcases the history of the Boer Trekkers who left the Cape Colony around 1835. Today this monument is more of a heritage conservation the home of Afrikaner culture. Built on a hilltop you can see it from any direction of Pretoria.

However, the centre is famous for the statue of Paul Kruger at the centre of the square.
