Overview

As São Paulo is 760 meters above sea level, to reach Santos, the highways pass through an impressive mountain range that stretches along the south and southeast coast of Brazil. Monte SerratTake a train to Monte Serrat, which is a peak with a great panoramic vantage point of the old casino at the top. Access to the hill is via a funicular system (called the Monte Serrat cable car) that connects the hill to the city center and leaves every half hour. From its viewpoint it is possible to have a complete view of the port, the urban part of Santos and surroundings, Bertioga Channel, Estuary and Barnabé and Santo Amaro Islands. At the top of the peak stands the Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Monte Serrat, from the 17th century, patron saint of the city and one of its historical attractions, dating from 1603.

As we walk through its different rooms, we will learn about the traditions, architecture, flavors and aromas of Brazilian coffee, as well as the history of the most important product for Brazilian socioeconomic growth.

Porchat IslandAdmire the marvelous view of the shoreline of Santos and city of "Saint Vincent" (First permanent Portuguese settlement in Brazil), from Niemeyer’s monument on the top of Porchat Island hill.

Spend time experiencing the beauties of Santos on a schooner tour passing beautiful beaches while admiring incredible views of Santos and Guarujá alongside the canal, ideal for photos and contemplation. Take a dip in the clear waters and have fun with a friendly and attentive team to assist you throughout. Itinerary: coasting along the side of Guarujá, passing in front of Barra fortress, Góes beach, Cheira Limão beach, Sangaba beach where we stop for 15 minutes to swim in the sea, continue to Palmas beach, crossing the Bay of Santos, goes along the edge of the beaches of Santos and enters the port area and returns to the disembarkation, duration of 1h30.
