One of the main attractions of this trip is Taj Mahal of course, and we have Red Fort and Sikandra Fort which are the highlights of this tour as well.
  • The Sanskrit name of the city, Vrindavan, comes from the name of the goddess Vrinda (represented by the plant Ocimum tenuiflorum or tulasí) and the toponym, which means “forest”. Vrindavan is approximately 65,000 inhabitants in the Mathura region of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Mathura District
Mathura is located about 50 kilometers northwest of Agra and is considered the birthplace of Krishna in Indian mythology and is one of the seven sacred cities of India. The city is located on the site of the ancient capital of the Kushan Kingdom. Due to persecution by Uncle Kamsa (later defeated by Krishna), Krishna was born in a prison cell. A temple was built above the camera - a place of numerous pilgrimages. In connection with worshipping the cult of Krishna, this is an important object of pilgrimage. At the artistic level, Mathura is world-famous for its beautiful red sandstone sculptures, which are part of the first golden age of Indian art during the first six centuries of our era.
  • Agra Fort
The magnificent fortification - “Red Fort” in Agra (world-famous monument and one the most visited sightseeing), is located on a partially natural (promenade), partially artificial hill on the banks of the Yamuna River, about 1.5 km from the Taj Mahal (you can see the world famous Taj Mahal, opposite the Yamuna River), covers an area of 380,000 square meters and is surrounded by a 12-meter red (at that time red was a symbol of empire power) sandstone wall (so it is also known as the Red Fort, which coincides with the Red Fort in the capital Delhi) with a moat below. The entire fort complex has a crescent shape and is surrounded by a heavy wall up to 21 meters high, whose perimeter is 2.4 kilometres. The wall, like most enclosed buildings, consists of bricks and is faced with slabs of red sandstone (however, the palace buildings built by Shah Jahan in the 17th century inside the fort are completely lined with white marble and decorated with stone or glass.
  • Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah
It is often called the "Little Taj", because of its resemblance to the Tai Mahal. Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah - often considered is one of the most important architectural compositions. The architectural complex consists of four structures made of red sandstone, placed on the cardinal points, which are connected by fortress walls (coated tinted plaster), the central structure of the mausoleum with four minarets. In the design of the building, both inside and outside, precious stones and gold were used. In addition to the main building, the structure consists of numerous household outbuildings and gardens. Sometimes called “Baby Taj,” the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daul is often seen as a sketch of the Taj Mahal (also many people think that the interior was inspired by the decoration of the Taj Mahal, built by his stepson, Mughal emperor Shah Jahan). The tomb, erected between 1622 and 1628,represents the transition between the first phase of the Mughal monument
  • Fatehpur Sikri
It`s located near the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh in India. It includes a large area of the palace (impressive and luxuriously decorated) and one of the largest mosques in India. The proximity (about 40 kilometers) to Agra and the Taj Mahal makes it a well-visited tourist attraction (invariably attracts the attention of people from generation to generation because of their own quality, scale and architectural style). Fatehpur Sikri was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1986. This is a great example of XVI-th century Indian culture. It remains the best-preserved ghost town (saved in a good condition) in India. Built in honor of the Sufi saint Salim Chisti (Akbar was happy and excited about the birth of a son according with a prediction of this Sufi), for 14 years was the capital of the Mughal empire (then had lost this status in connection with the emperor’s move to Lahore). Forming a perfect example of the Mughal fortified city with large public and private territories
