Full-day private tour to the ancient capital Oudong from Phnom Penh
Overview
After sunrise, you will be picked up from the hotel to visit Oudong, the ancient capital of the last stages of the Khmer Empire and the crowning site of the king, located between two parallel ridges about 40 km north of Phnom Penh. Oudong offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the countless sugar palms that connect the landscape.
You will then move to a contemporary pagoda where Buddhist monks will hold a private blessing ceremony for you, wishing you a healthy and safe journey - a very special experience before returning to Phnom Penh. On the way back, you will have the opportunity to visit the silversmith’s village of Koh Chen to see some unique silver handicrafts.
On this tour, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
