Look out for the Belows rock which crashed The Lusitania in 1911 prompting the authorities to built the second lighthouse. Take a view of the Diaz beach from the top and breath in some of the freshest air in the world as has been been declared since the construction of the Global Research Station.
  • Cape of Good Hope
    Visit this popular landmark on the African continent - the most South Western tip of Africa. Get up close to the wild animals which form part of the attraction. Theses include the eland, wild beast, zebra, the bontebok and the famous chacma babaoon. This location is dominated by the Cape Fynbos plants where the protea the national flower of South Africa is the most visible. Look out for the flowering plant species in this place which are estimated to be over 285 and almost 8 000 species of plants in fynbos alone. Explore this place whose rich biodiversity has over 250 bird species of which 70 breed here with two fynbos endemics. In spring the Cape Sugarbird and Orange breasted Sunbird are the most common. Look out for the seals sunbathing on the rocks and some of the local fisherman fishing snoek, yellow tail and the galjoen. This is an amazing location with travelers queueing up for photos on the Cape of Good Hope Monument. The rocky coastline makes this place totally unique.

  • Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
    Visit this popular penguin colony in Simon's Town. Take a walk on the wooden boardwalk to Foxy beach where you get up close to more than 3 000 of these attractive birds. Look out for the the man made homes and the Guanos - the homes made by these flightless birds. Learn about the life cycle of the penguins and their interesting social life. Get up close and take great selfies with the penguins up close. This is an ideal location for a group photo. The surroundings of the penguin colony are so picturesque it is nestled at the foot of Red hill mountain. Time permitting take a dip in the cool water and peddle with these flightless birds at the boulders' beach. In this beach the penguins also co-exist with the Dasy a very popular rock rabit found all over the Cape Peninsula.
  • Simon's Town
    Drive through this old town - one of the oldest settlements in South Africa. Along the main road take a close look at the attractive colonial Dutch architecture which prompted the authorities to declare this place a national heritage. The main road is lined with antique shops, old designer boutique shops, book shop, coffee shops and curio shops. It is one place which deserves a relaxed shopping as here you get exclusive products which you cannot find anywhere in South Africa. Look out for the statue of Just Nuisance a great Dane who between 1939 and 1944 served as HMS Afrikander. He was the only dog ever to be listed in the Royal Navy of South Africa and was buried with full military honor. On the harbor there are lots of fishing boats as this is home to the second biggest fishing industry in Cape Town. Since this is also the base of the South African Navy out at the harbor you see the war ships, frigates and the submarines.

    Visit this magnificent botanical garden one of the smallest in the world but rated among the top 5 because of its wide variety of plant species. Take a 30 minute golf cart tour of this rare gem of a garden and immerse yourself in untold beauty. Visit the varied flower segments and look out for the Mandela flower. Explore the place for the tree canopy and grab a cup of coffee from Moyo one of the most popular restaurants in the city. There are countless photo stops for great selfies or even group and family photos. Time permitting take a shot break as you enjoy a picnic on the attractive loan before you go shopping. In this garden is a curio shop which has the most valuable stone sculptures in the country. Look out for the works of the internationally famed stone sculpture from Zimbabwe Chapungu. There is also a wide variety of products in the curio shop ranging from beadwork, African attire, to expensive jewellry and books.
  • Drive by this world renowned hospital which in the books of history as having carried out the first ever human heart transplant in the World. A feat done by Dr Christian Baarnad and a team of 12 other doctors in December 1967. This is the biggest hospital in the western Cape province and currently has turned that room into a museum.
