Europa PointSituated at the southern-most point of Gibraltar, at the place where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Med-Sea, this observation point provides spectacular views across the strait along with a new outdoor and indoor interpretation exhibits.

The centre is housed at Princess Caroline’s Battery, a former artillery battery located at the northern end of the Gibraltar Nature Reserve. The relics exhibited, date from the 18th century to the present, and include weapons, shells, and other artefacts.

This heavy gun battery dates back to 1883, and is one of only two such cannons left in the world, the other one is in Malta. Check out the operating mechanics of this cannon and visit the adjacent Rosia Bay, where Admiral Nelson’s ship was anchored upon her return from victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.

Windsor Suspension BridgeHanging across a 50-metre-deep gorge, this 71 metres long swinging suspension bridge is definitely not for the faint-hearted but affords magnificent views across the strait, bay and city of Gibraltar.

Gibraltar Upper Rock Nature ReserveThe Upper Rock nature reserve is full of nature trails, rich in history, spectacular viewing points over the Strait of Gibraltar and onto Africa, and is home to a variety of birds and other animals including rabbits and the famous Barbary Apes.
