Washi, also known as Japanese paper, has a long and beautiful history that you can learn about during the guided tour of the Tenjin Paper factory. With an experienced guide, you can hear about the 100-year-old factory firsthand from the craftsmen who keep this art alive. You can also watch Japanese paper being made and the effort that goes into its creation. After that, you can experience the only place in the world where gilding and washi meet! During this tour, you can create a one-of-a-kind piece of art using bronze leaf and oxidised metals. Each pattern is carefully selected to match the season, making it a unique souvenir and an experience you will never forget!
