Gran Reserva wine tour with tasting
Overview
Get ready for a full-day excursion to the Valley of the Vineyards, a notable Brazilian wine region. This area, shaped by Italian immigrant heritage, features scenic landscapes and a winemaking tradition spanning over a century.
After hotel pickups, the first stop is at Miolo Winery of the Miolo family who arrives in Brazil in 1897. One of the founders of the Wines of Brazil project, Miolo Wine Group is the largest wine exporter in the country and the most recognized in the international market. The production of the four wineries of the group amounts, on average, 10 million liters per year and is cultivated in an area of own vineyards with approximately 1,000 hectares. Here, you will participate in a mini wine course and will taste five emblematic wines of the group.
The itinerary follows the Valbrenta, also located in Vale dos Vinhedos, a small cheese shop where you can taste the best cheeses of Brazil. The final stop of the tour is at Vinhos Zanrosso, a family-owned, colonial winery located in Caxias do Sul. Learn about their story, with over 80 years dedicated to the art of growing grapes and making wines. Discover their wines and taste some of them.
