  • Amelia Earhart Lookout is a beautiful lookout near Diamond Head State Monument and overlooking the clear blue water where Amelia Earhart gained reputation as the first person to solo flight from Hawaii to North America. The view overlooks the surfers who hit the waves at one of Oahu's most legendary surf spots.
  • Kahala Avenue is Honolulu’s most prestigious beachfront neighborhood. The homes are a mixture of contemporary and older villas.   • Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
    This protected marine life conservation area, named after its unique curved bay, is a popular snorkeling spot in Hawaii. Formed within a volcanic cone on the eastern side of Oahu, this marine sanctuary is home to vibrant marine life and well-preserved corals. closed on Monday & Tuesday.
  • Halona Blowhole
    The Hālona Blowhole is one of Hawaii's natural wonders, created thousands of years ago when molten lava tubes were formed from volcanic eruptions. Absolutely stunning views from this lookout point.
  • Sandy Beach lies at the base of Koko Crater, or Kohelepelepe, as the mountain was known to the Hawaiians. In the legends of Pele, the goddess of the volcano, one of her sisters attempted to attract Kamapua’a, a handsome demigod. Besides the shore break, Sandy has several other popular bodysurfing and bodyboarding sites, Pipe Littles and Half Point in front of the comfort station, and one site for board surfing, Full Point, at the east end of the beach. Full Point breaks on the edge of an offshore reef. (pass by)
  • Byodo-In Temple
    The Byodo-In Temple is located at the foot of the Ko'olau Mountains in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. It was established on June 7, 1968, to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. The Byodo-In Temple in O'ahu is a smaller-scale replica of the over 950-year-old Byodo-in Temple, a United Nations World Heritage Site in Uji, Japan.
  • Tropical Farms began as a roadside operation in 1987. Tropical Farms Macadamia Nut outlet is great little shopped tucked away off the beaten path. Free coffee and macadamia nut samples are always good. Experience of cracking your own macadamia nut from a tree located behind their shop.
  • Visit this incredible private nature reserve that has been the scene for a multitude of Hollywood movies and television shows. Kualoa is a 4000-acre private working cattle ranch. One of Oahu’s Historic Places, Kualoa Ranch is one of the most popular of Oahu outdoor playgrounds at the stretch of the Koolau mountains facing the beautiful Kaneohe Bay.

  • One of the most famous surf spots on the North Shore, this beach is also known as the “Banzai Pipeline” for its barreling waves. During winter, massive swells break on shallow reef, making it a dangerous beach for only the best and bravest surfers (and a great place for watching some of the world’s top surfing). International contests such as the Triple Crown of Surfing and the Billabong Pipeline Masters are held here in winter months. During summer, the water is much calmer but you’ll still want to check in with the lifeguard for the latest conditions before going in. (pass by)
  • One of the most famous snorkels and dive beaches on the North Shore. Sharks Cove has been rated by Scuba Diving Magazine as one of the “Top Twelve Shore Dives in the World”. Located on Oahu’s world-famous North Shore, this small rocky bay forms part of Pupukea Beach Park and boasts blue water and an impressive amount of sea life. The bottom is made up of large smooth boulders and coral heads forming small caves and ledges for marine life to hide. (pass by)

    Historic Dole pineapple plantation was founded in 1901. Dole Plantation opened to the public as Hawaii’s “Pineapple Experience” in 1989. Today, Dole Plantation is one of Oahu’s most popular visitor attractions.
