Free, safe parking at private residence 1/4 mile SOUTH of Point Lobos entrance. Driveway is on the EAST side of Highway 1, across from the green mailboxes (look for the "Point Lobos Walks" sign on the east side). After passing the driveway gate, take the first left turn to the parking area.

Hike along the magnificent, rocky shore and unique bays while watching out for otters, seals, sealions as well as birds and deer. Get to know the plants, the sea and land animals and hear the fascinating stories of the Portuguese whalers, Chinese fishermen, Japanese abalone divers who called this home. Our guides share the amazing story of Point Lobos almost became a city, and how it was saved from that fate by A.M. Allan who recognized its magic.
