Road map
The route begins with a walk along the "Trilha Ecológica do Índio", a trail that takes us to the Canoeing Base located on the banks of the Iguaçu River. The entire path is accompanied by lots of information about the Atlantic Forest and the biome, anthropology and culture.
Arriving at the Canoeing Base is where instructions take place and safety equipment is placed. After everything was prepared, we embarked on a paddle, heading towards the Tamanduá River, a light and very relaxing canoeing activity. The lush landscape of the region provides magical moments of contact with nature.
At Rio Tamanduá we disembarked and walked along the trail to Cachoeira da Toca. After contemplating and bathing in the waterfalls, we returned to the kayaks and paddled back to the base.
In the last part of the tour we contemplate the Juruvá Waterfall, and then follow the trail back.
