On clear days, the majestic Dhauladhar range serves as a breathtaking backdrop, with its snowy peaks most visible in February and March.
The walk ascends to a maximum height of approximately 2000 meters before transitioning to an uneven trail that meanders through a shaded forest. Along the way, vibrant Tibetan prayer flags flutter among the trees, creating a serene atmosphere. You'll arrive at a small settlement of mud-brick houses, home to both monks and monkeys. Nearby stands a stupa, marking the cremation site of the monk who accompanied the current Dalai Lama during his escape from Tibet.
