After a 5-minute drive to the top of the Tromsø island, we first learn how to use the snowshoes and then we start walking into the forest.
Our guide will lead you through mostly flat, sometimes slightly hilly terrain. We will have several stops during the walk for photos and to provide you with information about our exciting city and Arctic environment. We will pass through a scenic area in the midst of birch and spruce forests that on several occasions will offer very good views of the beautiful landscape that surrounds our island. We will further have one longer break where we serve 'lefse' (a delicious local sweet snack) and a hot drink to warm you up before we continue our winterly walk.
