Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan)Your day begins at 9:00 AM, when your private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Guilin. After a scenic 20-minute drive, you’ll arrive at the Reed Flute Cave, located 7 kilometers northwest of downtown Guilin. This U-shaped cave stretches 240 meters deep and requires about 500 meters of walking inside, taking roughly an hour to explore. Inside, you’ll discover a spectacular world of stalactites, stone pillars, and rock formations created by carbonate deposition, illuminated by colorful lighting to create a natural art palace. The cave’s otherworldly beauty makes it a must-visit attraction in Guilin.

Yulong RiverNext, head to the Yulong River, a 1.5-hour drive from the Reed Flute Cave. Known as “the Little Li River,” the Yulong River is a tributary of the Li River that starts in northern Yangshuo County. Board a traditional bamboo raft for a 40-minute ride, gliding through tranquil waters surrounded by lush greenery and dramatic karst peaks.
