According to meteorologist Bantry bay is the only suburb in Cape town that is not affected by the south eastern winds that Cape town experiences on a regular basis and this is all thanks to the Lions head. Bantry bay has over 260 wind free days a year and which is a significant number considering Cape town's windy climate. (pass by)
- Next to Bantry bay is Camps bay. Another plush sea side suburb punctuated by the popular white sandy camps bay beach and the twelve apostles mountain range. Guest will have an opportunity to step out of the vehicle and savour the beautiful views and take photos of what man's hand and nature have blended into a masterpiece. (pass by)

Since they were listed on the red list of endangered species, a boardwalk was constructed to restrict too much human interruption at the penguin colony. However guest can still get very close to the penguin and get close up pictures albeit without having to be standing on the beach but the boardwalk.
