Easy hiking trail in a large nature reserve about an hour drive from Tallinn. You probably won't meet any other tourists there. Because the site I'll take you is away from the typical travel agency routes and you can't get there by public transport. At the same time, You shouldn't worry because all the nature trails are in good condition and as scenic as they get. The hiking part takes up to 3 hours. Estonia is a pretty flat country but in this area, you'll see some fast-changing landscapes, beautiful lakes, bogs, and forests which will give you a good quick overview of what Estonian nature is like.

Jagala WaterfallOne of the only few waterfalls in Estonia. Highest natural waterfall near Tallinn. The waterfall is approximately 8 metres high and more than 50 metres wide. Beautiful and photogenic nature site, which looks different in every season. Good place for photos and viewing the falling water from different angles. No additional hiking is required.
