In the morning after breakfast, you will visit the Royal palace of Fes, the jewish quarters and then have a splendid panoramic view of the old city. After exploring the ceramic and mosaic workshop just outside the city, You will explore the ancient medina and admire the three main components of the Arabic/Andalusian architecture: ceramic art, carving of the plaster and carving of the wood. You'll be surprised as I introduce you to the oldest continuous University mosque in the world. While strolling slowly in the narrow alleyways and markets of the old city, you will discover the medieval Koranic schools that housed students who came to study in Fes during the medieval time: Medrasa Bou Inania or Medrasa Sherratine.
