  • Peggy's Cove
Your 4-hour private tour starts right from the Halifax Cruise Terminal or your hotel in the city. We’ll hit the road for a scenic 50-minute drive toward Peggy’s Cove, passing through peaceful fishing villages, quiet lakes, and stretches of stunning coastal views along the way. It’s the kind of drive where you’ll want to just sit back, relax, and take it all in. Our first stop is the star of the show — Peggy’s Cove. You’ll spend about an hour exploring this tiny, postcard-perfect village. It feels like a place where time stands still, with colourful homes perched on the rocks, fishing boats in the harbour, and the salty Atlantic breeze in the air. Of course, we’ll visit the iconic lighthouse — one of the most photographed spots in Canada — standing proudly on giant granite rocks with the waves crashing below. You’ll have time to wander the rocks, snap a few unforgettable photos, visit local gift shops, and just enjoy the peaceful vibe of the place.
  • Fairview Lawn Cemetery
After your visit to Peggy’s Cove, we’ll head back toward Halifax — a drive of about 45 minutes — and stop at one of the most poignant sites in the city: the Titanic Victims Cemetery, officially known as Fairview Lawn Cemetery. Halifax played a significant role in the aftermath of the Titanic disaster, as it was the closest major port to where the ship sank. Here, you'll spend around 15 minutes walking among the graves of over 120 victims, including crew members, passengers from all classes, and even one grave marked only as “The Unknown Child.” Your guide will share moving stories and historical context that bring this place to life in a respectful and memorable way.
  • Halifax Citadel National Historic Site
After visiting the Titanic Cemetery, your next stop is Citadel Hill, officially known as Fort George. This historic star-shaped fortress has stood guard over Halifax since 1749 and has played a key role in the city’s military past. Built by the British to protect the harbor from naval threats, it was never actually attacked, but it remains a powerful symbol of Halifax’s strategic importance. As you explore inside, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time. You can walk along the thick stone walls and grassy ramparts, see the old cannons, and even hear the echo of the noon-time gun, which is still fired daily by a costumed re-enactor. Inside the barracks and tunnels, you’ll learn about the daily lives of soldiers, see historical displays, and get a sense of how Halifax was defended during both peace and war. The elevated location also offers breathtaking 360-degree views over downtown Halifax, the harbour, and beyond — a must for photos.
  • Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk
After spending around 30 minutes at the Citadel, your final stop is the Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk, one of the longest urban boardwalks in the world and a favorite spot for both visitors and locals. Stretching nearly 4 kilometers along the harbor, it’s lined with quaint shops, cafes, local artisans, museums, and food stalls. You can see historic ships in the harbor, watch sailboats glide by, and maybe even spot a seal in the water. The boardwalk is the perfect place to end your tour — lively, scenic, and full of energy. You’ll be dropped off here if you’d like to continue exploring on your own, or we can return you to your original pickup point, whether it’s the cruise terminal or your hotel. This final stretch of the tour gives you a taste of Halifax’s modern charm, paired perfectly with the history you’ve discovered earlier in the day. Important Note: The remaining Hours will be allotted for the travel time from pick up until drop off.
