Alnwick CastleFeatured as Hogwarts, Alnwick castle was in 'The Chamber of Secrets' and 'Philosopher's Stone'. Harry's first flying lesson with Madam Hooch was one of the most memorable scenes filmed at Alnwick. Dating back back to 1036, Alnwick Castle is one of the few castles where its owner, the Duke of Northumberland, still resides in. The castle attracts more than 600,000 visitors each year and its gardens are extensive and worth exploring.
