Overview
This North Shore Oʻahu farm experience centers on Hawaiʻi’s working farms and craft producers — not crowded bus stops or rushed sightseeing.
You’ll visit a carefully selected mix of coffee farms, a cacao orchard, pineapple sites and a macadamia nut shop that reflect the island’s agricultural history and modern makers.
There is an opportunity to shop and have lunch in Haleʻiwa Town, where guests can choose from a variety of local eateries and popular food trucks. Lunch is available for purchase and not included.
Round-trip pickup and drop-off are provided at your selected Oʻahu location. Your group travels together in a private, climate-controlled Mercedes vehicle — no shared rides. A professional driver manages timing and logistics throughout this structured 5-hour experience.

Old Waialua Sugar MillOnce the site of a massive sugar plantation that closed in 1996, the mill's historic industrial bones have been repurposed into a creative campus featuring everything from surfboard shapers to gourmet coffee roasters. They offer free samples of single-origin coffee and Waialua Estate Chocolate. You can see actual cacao and coffee trees on-site and learn how the beans are processed. There is also a surf shop, soap factory, distillery, farmer's market (Saturdays only), and a place to get delicious Shave Ice!
-
Hale‘iwa Town CenterHaleʻiwa is a charming historic surf town and the cultural heart of Oʻahu’s North Shore. Known for its plantation-era wooden buildings, the town is home to local art galleries, surf shops, and laid-back eateries that reflect the area’s deep surf culture roots. This is the designated lunch stop on the tour, offering a wide range of options—from famous shrimp trucks and local plate lunches to the iconic Matsumoto’s Shave Ice, a must-try Hawaiian favorite. Far removed from the pace of Honolulu, Haleʻiwa offers a relaxed “country” atmosphere where guests can stroll the streets, shop for unique souvenirs, and enjoy the North Shore lifestyle. Lunch is available for purchase and is not included.
-
North Shore Macadamia Nut CompanyThis rustic farm stand offers a fun and flavorful introduction to one of Hawaiʻi’s most iconic crops. Guests are welcomed by the aroma of roasting macadamia nuts and complimentary samples of flavored nuts and local coffee. You’ll have the opportunity to crack open a raw macadamia nut using traditional tools provided on-site and sample a variety of flavors, from garlic-seasoned to honey-roasted. The country store also features Hawaiian chocolates, spices, and island-made souvenirs, making this a great stop for tasting and gift shopping. This experience offers a relaxed and authentic taste of Oʻahu’s North Shore.
-
Haleiwa Beach ParkHawaiian Green Sea Turtles are frequent visitors here, often seen swimming in the shallows or basking on the sand. We cannot guarantee a turtle sighting but this is an area with the best chance to see any. There's also opportunity to take beautiful pictures of Waialua Bay and the Waianae Mountain Range in the background. This is a 15-minute stop that is strictly enforced by the state.
-
Dole PlantationOriginally a pineapple farm and roadside fruit stand in the mid-1900s, Dole Plantation opened to visitors in 1989 and has since become one of Hawaiʻi’s most popular attractions. Guests can sample the iconic Dole Whip® pineapple soft-serve, explore beautifully maintained gardens, and learn about Hawaiʻi’s pineapple history. The plantation also features a country store offering pineapple treats and island souvenirs. Optional attractions such as the Pineapple Express Train Tour and Garden Maze are available for purchase on-site but are not included in the tour.
