Overview
Discover the BREATHTAKING beauty of the petrified waterfalls at Hierve el Agua. Witness stunning rock formations that resemble frozen waterfalls as we explore the site on foot and take a REFRESHING swim, all while enjoying the AWE-INSPIRING views of the surrounding landscapes. Fully guided in both ENGLISH and Spanish. This is the perfect way to visit Hierve el Agua, hike around the formations and relax at the pools WITHOUT the addition of UNNECESSARY stops to actually see the place up and down with no rush. We'll meet in downtown Oaxaca. Then, we'll begin our journey to Hierve el Agua (1:30 hr. drive). Once we arrive, we'll start the hike to the PETRIFIED waterfalls, go to the most amazing viewpoints, hike down to the base to it from below and appreciate its stunning beauty. We'll continue the hike and come back up to spend some time relaxing in the natural pools where you can dip your feet or even go for a full body dive. We'll finish off trying delicious food at a local eatery.

OaxacaWe will meet at 7:30 am to start our journey. 1:30 hr drive into the Mezcal region. Southeast of Oaxaca. The site is located at the foothills of the Sierra.

Hierve el AguaOnce we arrive, we will start the hike along the rock formations, known as the petrified waterfalls, to appreciate different view points. After the Hike, we will have time to relax by the mineral springs, in which you can swim. Then, we will eat lunch on site.
