The temple area is adjacent to the first Indonesian presidential palace. This temple has a purification concept or bathing pool or pertirta which is used for the melukat ceremony. Melukat is a process of purifying oneself by doing physicals cleaning using water that comes out of the shower in the Tirta Empul pool.
