Hike the Inca trail in Argentina
Overview
This challenging 7-9km hike features stunning and rugged high altitude scenery, ideal for experienced and adventurous trekkers. Starting from Salta city, we travel to Campo Quijano, known as the base for the Train to the Clouds railway line.
- 🚶♂️ The hike begins at San Bernardo de las Zorras after crossing rivers and driving off-road through canyons.
- 🌄 We can stop to see an antique engine and the mausoleum of Richard Maury, the chief engineer of the train line.
- ⏳ The walk takes between 4 and 5 hours, with two hours of travel each way.
- 🥪 Picnic lunch is provided during the hike.
- 🗣️ Our guide is experienced in hiking all terrains and speaks both English and Spanish.
