Overview
In the morning, the drive from Zadar leads over the imposing Pager Bridge to the “Moon Island” of Pag. Already the journey opens up impressive views of the barren, almost alien-looking landscape. The famous Life on Mars Trail opens up a world of rocks, sea and endless horizon – a nature experience of particular intensity. Along the way, hidden beaches with crystal clear, turquoise waters invite you to take a refreshing swim.
After the hike follows a traditional Dalmatian lunch. Pager cheese, lamb or fresh fish reflect the culinary identity of the island. Afterwards, the town of Pag offers the opportunity to stroll through narrow streets, linger on the promenade or discover the ornate Pager Spitze.
In the afternoon drive back to Zadar – with lasting impressions of an island that uniquely combines nature, sea, culture and taste.
