- The Oldest Synagouge in the United States, dating back to 1763. It is a symbol for Newport as a haven for religious freedom seekers. (pass by)

Brenton Point State ParkWe stop for a short break at this picturesque overlook. The 90 acre State park was once a summer estate and is located at the southern most point of Newport, RI.
- At the south end of prestigious Bellevue Avenue is the summer estate of tobacco hieress Doris Duke. The controversial billionaire spent many summers here and forever changed Newport with her colonial preservation efforts. (pass by)
