You day begins with an 8 am pick up from your San Ignacio hotel followed by 1.5 hour horseback ride through rolling farmland and a quite riverside jungle trail.
After your ride, you have a 1 hour drive through local villages to your local restaurant for an early lunch.
Once you have grabbed some grub you have a 15 minute drive to a magnificent cascade known as Big Rock falls. Here you take a 10 minute hike down a steep slope before taking a plunge in the numerous pools that are available. The more adventurous can also do some rock jumping or water levels permitting swim to the base of the falls.
