Oceanico is the original whale watching organization in Huatulco with a team of bi-lingual marine biologists that are studying the Humpback whales.
Our unique and respectful approach ensures the most whale sightings, observing natural behaviors while our guides share their knowledge about the amazing Humpback whales.
We typically see whales, dolphins, sea turtles and more oceanic species!
There is an underwater microphone to listen to the whales.
Our experienced guides share their knowledge offering you an in depth look into the lives of the dolphins, whales and sea turtles.

We meet 10 minutes before departure at the Chahué marina at the palapa roofed building next to the dock entrance. There are bathrooms there for our guests.

We meet 10 minutes before departure at the Chahué marina at the palapa roofed building next to the dock entrance. There are bathrooms there for our guests.
Meet our crew of marine biologists for a short briefing on the Humpback whales and other oceanic species of Huatulco as we depart the marina.
There are lifejackets for guests from 3 year old children up to 130kg adults.
We have a hydrophone (underwater microphone) to listen to the whales singing and to help locate them.
We take you further, traveling to areas uniquely known to our team and network of spotters for the most sightings.
Our unique approach ensures us the most Humpback whale sightings in Huatulco.
As we observe the whales our guide shares information about their amazing lives, current researc and answers your questions.
Our goal is to share amazing observations of the whales, dolphins, sea turtles and all the species.
When it is time, we say 'Adios y Gracias' to the whales and dolphins, then cruise back to the Chahué marina for a short debriefing.
