Humantay LakeWe will pick you up from your hotel at 3:00 am to start our adventure. Then we will drive for around 5 hours in our private vehicle to the small town of Soraypampa. Here we will have breakfast before starting the hike to the stunning Humantay Lake. The Humantay Lake, also known as the Humantay Lagoon, is located at a height of 4200 meters above sea level. Its waters come from Salkantay mountain, a place considered sacred by the locals. Humantay stands out for its blue and green colors, which contrast with the rugged andean terrain. This lake creates a perfect background for taking photos. Travellers must walk for around 1.5 hours from Soraypampa before reaching Humantay lake. Once there, we will spend some time admiring the amazing andean landscape. Then, we will go back to Soraypampa. The return hike takes aroud 45 minutes. Once there, we will drive to Mollepata town to have lunch. Finally, we will go back to Cusco city. We will arrive at Cusco at around 5:00 pm.
