Meeting point
Meet on the edge of the bike/walking path and the grassy area of Little Marina Green. The 30-Stockton bus drops visitors directly at Little Marina Green (stop at Mason St & Yacht Rd/Crissy East Beach) in the vicinity of the Palace of Fine Arts.
Return details
We will be ending at a local favorite brewpub in the Inner Richmond neighborhood. There is easy access to the 1-California or 38-Geary buses to return visitors to Union Square or 28-19th Avenue bus to return visitors to Fisherman's Wharf.
- We won't go onto the Golden Gate Bridge, but will pause for photos at some of the best viewpoints of it in the city. (pass by)
- We'll walk through the main promenade of the Palace of Fine Arts with plenty of time for photos. (pass by)
- We'll explore the sidewalks and side trails of the Presidio with several viewpoints and a nice mix of city and nature. (pass by)
- See the famous Yoda fountain as we pass by on our way from the Palace of Fine Arts to Tunnel Top park with time for photos. (pass by)
- We'll explore a good portion of Tunnel Tops Park and pause at some amazing viewpoints for photos. There are also restrooms available at this location. (pass by)
- With views from below and above, appreciate the magnitude of the 30,000 veterans and family members buried here. (pass by)
- Get a glimpse of the mansions that make up San Francisco's first planned development on the city's west side. (pass by)
- Pass by the lake via the adjoining park as the last amount of walking (and last bathroom stop) before reaching our final destination. (pass by)
