  • Gua Tempurung
    Tempurung Cave (Gua Tempurung) is a cave in Gopeng, Kampar District, Perak, Malaysia, located within the Kinta Valley Geopark. It is popular among spelunkers, or caving enthusiasts. More than 3 km long, it is one of the longest caves in Peninsular Malaysia. Part of it has been developed as a show cave with electric lighting and walkways. A fine river cave, the river passage runs about 1.6 km through the hill. There are three very large chambers and some spectacular stalactites and stalagmites.
  • Kellie's Castle
    Kellie's Castle (sometimes also called Kellie's Folly) is a castle located in Batu Gajah, Kinta District, Perak, Malaysia. The unfinished, ruined mansion, was built by a Scottish planter named William Kellie-Smith. According to differing accounts, it was either a gift for his wife or a home for his son. Kellie's Castle is situated beside the Raya River (Sungai Raya), which is a small creek to the Kinta River.
  • Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple and Zen Gardens
    The undoubtable beauty of Kek Lok Tong cave temple makes it something of a tourist attraction even in this quieter side of Ipoh. Kek Lok Tong (or Kek Look Tong) is one of the larger temples with a site size at roughly 12 acres
  • Gaharu Tea Valley was set up approximately 20 years ago, covering 300 acres of elevated grounds. At one point in time, there were approximately 200,000 Gaharu trees. Also because at that point 90% of the produce was to meet the demands from global markets primarily China, Taiwan, Middle East, China, Japan and Korea. According to stories that revolve around the region, the species that are grown on Gaharu Tea Valley were adapted from Japan and brought over to Malaysia by Gaharu Technologies.   • Concubine Lane
    As the name suggests, a famous tycoon gifted this lane to one of his concubines over a hundred years ago. While the area used to be rife with vices, today it is teeming with famous Ipoh eateries and coffee shops, cool cafes, and dessert houses. It has also been given a modern makeover by street artists, who have painted walls murals that capture the area's history. They're great photo spots, too.

    The Ipoh railway station is a Malaysian train station located on the south-western side of and named after the capital city of Ipoh, Perak.
  • Ipoh Town Hall and Old Post Office
    Ipoh Town Hall is one of three colonial era buildings in Ipoh designed by well known British architect Arthur Benison Hubback. The other two, Ipoh High Court and Ipoh Railway Station, are a short distance apart. Ipoh Railway Station is on the opposite side of the road and Ipoh High Court is the building next door.

  • Birch Memorial Clock Tower
    The Birch Memorial Clock Tower is a clock tower in Ipoh, Kinta District, Perak, Malaysia. The clock tower was constructed to commemorate James W. W. Birch, the first British Resident of the state of Perak, and was unveiled in 1909 at a cost of $25,000.
  • Kallumalai Devasthanam
    This is one of the most beautiful temples to visit in Ipoh. Outside of prayer times, the area becomes quiet and deserted, offering a serene spot for quiet reflection and soaking up the views. While there isn’t much that distinguishes this temple, the highlight is the setting against the cliffs. The Guan Yin Dan Ba Xian Tong Buddhist cave temple inside a cave sits next door. Some might not see these temples as must-visit attractions in Ipoh, but anyone with a passion for photography will appreciate the view.
