Fuerte de San Fernando de BocachicaSan Fernando de Bocachica stands majestically at the entrance to the bay. On March 13, 1741, the people of Cartagena awoke to see a massive English fleet with 120-186 ships, and between 20,000 and 27,000 men, including at least 12,000 infantry. They Attacked and destroyed the Original San Luis Fort at the Beginning of the Battle for Cartagena de Indias.

Isla Tierra BombaAfter visiting the Fort for photos and a brief tour, we take a 5-minute short walk to the beach, where we will enjoy a typical fish lunch and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase at the beach club.
