Fuerte de San Fernando de BocachicaSan Fernando de Bocachica stands majestically at the entrance to the bay. On March 13, 1741, the people of Cartagena awoke to see a massive English fleet with 120-186 ships, and between 20,000 and 27,000 men, including at least 12,000 infantry. They Attacked and destroyed the Original San Luis Fort at the Beginning of the Battle for Cartagena de Indias.

Isla Tierra BombaAfter visiting the Fort for photos and a brief tour, we take a 3-minute short walk to a local beach club restaurant where we will enjoy a typical fried fish lunch or grilled chicken lunch (vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request), and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase at the beach club.
