Overview
We will leave the main touristy sights behind and drive away to Istanbul's less known neighborhoods and sights. The tour will partly be sightseeing and partly food sampling in different parts of Istanbul. We will start with Ortaköy neighborhood suited on the side of the Bosporus where you can put Asia and Europe in one picture.We will go little further to see Rumeli Fortresses which was part of the defense of conquering the Constantinople in 1453.
After this we will drive through the Istanbul Bosporus bridge from European side to Asian side.We will visit Beylerbeyi palace and see how the Sultans were living.We will visit the Çamlıca which the highest hill of Istanbul and a new mosque built in 2019 which is one of the biggest one in world.We will conclude the tour at the Kadıköy food market with sampling the variety of the different food which comes from different parts of Turkey. Your guide will order the food for you and make it easier to make a selection of the well chosen food you.

- Tantuni; diced beef or chicken ( optional ) roasted in a large pan wrap with vegetables with yoghurt
- Lahmacun ; Turkish style of pizza cook in a wood fire oven with lamb, paprika, tomatoes and unions
- Tulum ; a goat cheese fermented in a goat skin for two years from eastern Turkey
- Olive tasting; sampling 4 different kinds of the olives which come from different parts of Turkey
- Lunch will starter with four different kinds of meze ( dips ), 2-3 different kinds of home cooked meals and 2-3 kinds of kebaps. If you are vegetarians there will be many vegetarian options.
- Midye Dolma; mussels stuffed with rice and spices in their shell

- Halva; one of the oldest dessert made of the wheat flour, tahini, pistachio and sugar.

- Turşu ; variety of the pickled vegetables serve in a glass with a delicious juice
- Künefe ; the most liked middle eastern dessert made of angel hair, pistachio, cheese and honey.

- Börek pastries in Ortaköy at about 10 am. This is will be variety of the pastries stuffed with cheese, minced meat, spinach.

OrtakoyWe will start with a visit to Ortaköy neighborhood by the Bosporus and sample the böreks ( filo pastries ). Picture taking of the Bosporus bridge and Ortaköy mosque.

Rumeli FortressWe will visit this fortresses which was built by Ottoman in 1452 to stop the help ships might come from the Black sea side.

Camlica HillWe will have a drink break here at Çamlıca hill which the highest hill of Istanbul. The city will be under your foot here and it is a great spot for the photo taking.

Beylerbeyi PalaceWe will visit this 19 century palace which was built by Ottoman Sultan as a summer house and a guest house.

CamlIca MosqueWe will visit this new mosque which was completed in 2019 in May. It is the biggest mosque ever built in Turkey with 60 thousand people capacity.
- We will just drive through the bridge as it is not open to the pedestrian. (pass by)

KadIkoy CarsIsIThis is one of the most beautiful food market in Istanbul. We will have many food sampling here: Some of them are mussels stuffed with rice and spices, pickled vegetables, pastrami, variety of cheeses, olives and more..

We will have a late lunch at this local restaurant which is specialized on Southeastern Turkey cuisine. There will be soups, variety of meze starters, home cooked food, kebaps, lahmacuns and more.
