According to the legend, Hum was built with the stones left over when giants built towns in the river Mirna valley. Hum dates from the 11th century and since then it has been one of the most famous centers of Glagolitic culture. Tradition and heritage will be experienced in the Museum of Hum Aura through 11 themed rooms (old pharmacy, school, post office, shop, distillery, shoemakers, mill and other themed rooms).
Opatija is one of the most pleasant towns on the Adriatic coast also named Croatian Cannes. The seaside, the vibe and the picturesque architecture make Opatija town one of Croatia's best places to visit. Opatija is home to top restaurants and traditional taverns that always offer fresh foods and rich wine lists completing your experience of this beautiful area.

Museum Of Hum AuraThe Museum of Hum Aura is located in a medieval building in the smallest town in the world – Hum in Istria. The building played an important role in creating the social, economic, and political life of Homjans (the citizens of Hum). The permanent exhibition of the museum consists of almost 1500 exhibits carefully arranged in 11 thematic units. Each room represents an indispensable segment of the ancestors' life and dominant craft shops in the last 150 years: pharmacy, school, post office, shop, distillery, shoemaker, carpenter, tailor, mill, fresco painting workshop, and a thematic room dedicated to the Glagolitic script. Five rooms are interactive, so in the school, you can write a postcard using Glagolitic letters and send it to your home address from the post office. You can also make your own cream in the pharmacy, as all the necessary ingredients are provided. You can grind coffee beans in an old mill and fill a bottle of brandy with your signed label in an old distillery.

The Angiolina Park - Villa AngiolinaExperience the beauty of one of Opatija’s most beautiful parks, described as the green heart of the town. The camellia, which thrives in this park, has become a symbol of Opatija. Centar part of the park is Villa Angiolina, the neo-renaissance mansion, built in 1844 by Iginio Scarpa and named after his wife, was the reason why Opatija became the main seaside resort in Austria-Hungary. Today the place is home to the museum of Croatian tourism.
