Jakarta CathedralLocated in Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara, The Cathedral built in gothic style dates back to 1891. It has a high tower with high windows decorated with glass paintings. Inside the church are 3 altars that together form a semi-circle. It also has a beautiful old altar that reflects sound like a conch shell.

Istiqlal MosqueIstiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the sixth largest mosque in the world in terms of worshipper capacity. Istiqlal, which means “Independence” in Arabic. Located in the city center, almost opposite the National Cathedral, the Mosque is also meant to be a symbol of peace and religious tolerance.
