Khor VirapKhor Virap is an actively working monastery nowadays, but it used to be a place of tortures, a prison from where people never return. Here Grigor Lusavorich was kept for spreading Christianity in Armenia. The monastery is very close to the border and a 10 minute walk up the hill will open an amazing view to mount Ararat and Araxes.
