Chuanzhusi TownGami Temple is located at the foot of Xiaoxi Tiansheng Mountain, 30 kilometers north of Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, in Zhangla Crystal Township. "Gami" in Chinese means a peaceful and joyful place, "Lin" refers to a temple, and in Tibetan, it is called "Gengqiadeqin Gamilin", which means "Gami Temple where Buddhism gathers". The temple has a long history. The first generation Chacha Lama, Master Renqing Jianzan, built the predecessor of Gami Temple, the Chacha Geng Pagoda "Temple" in 1378 AD (also known as 1335 AD). The temple architecture is unique, with a front facing scripture wheel for believers of our religion to rotate.
