A pioneer of Buddhist monastery in Borobudur temple's area which was built in 1974, has great stories actualized by sculptures and decorative reliefs in the area. It is also a peaceful place to learn and practice meditation with Monks, surrounded by Muslim's village.

Candi Mendut (Temple)The earliest Buddhist temple in this area, built by Somaratungga King of Syailendra dinasty, who was the father of the princess who built Borobudur temple in 8th century. There is 3 meters Buddha statue and other two Boddhisatva with a unique sitting position as a king.
