Joshua Tree National ParkOur shuttle van will take you to the city of Joshua Tree where we trade for our H-1 Military Hummer to complete your adventure. We climb to the top of a breathtaking overlook called Keys Point that will give you a stunning view of the valley below and a view that stretches all the way to Mexico.
-
Keys ViewGawk at a view that stretches for hundreds of miles. From this high point in Joshua Tree you can see as far as the Salton Sea and all the way down to Mexico on a clear day. You might even be able to make out your hotel on this escarpment that borders the famous San Andreas Fault. Look below this ledge we will stop at and you will see the fault line itself which stretches for over 800 miles.
-
Barker Dam TrailWe offer an optional mile walk on this view that meanders through jaw-dropping beauty that includes the monzo granite formations of Joshua Tree as well as forests of these ancient plants that survived the Ice Age. Your Hummer guide will escort you through this area and he is a certified Wilderness guide trained in the geology of this area as well as aware of its more recent Native American history.
-
Cap Rock TrailThis offers you an additional half-mile optional walk that loops you around precarious rock formations that balance upon one another. This is one of the most photographed areas in the park and well worth a stop and visit. Do not forget your cameras!
