  • Kolorina Bay
Our tour starts with a brief introduction just outside of the Old Town. After that, you will get basic information about the tour, what places we will visit, and a short overview of the City's history from its foundation in the 7th century until today.
  • Pile Gate
Pile Gate has always been the main entrance into the city. You will hear a story about the construction of the City Walls and a protective mote. You will get to know why there is a statue of one saint in many places on the City Walls and important buildings in the city.
  • Stradun
Stradun is the main street and the heart of the Old Town. We can find some of the most valuable monuments and buildings right here: Onofrio's Fountain, Franciscan Monastery with the Ancient Pharmacy, Sponza Palace, Orlando's Column, Church of St. Blaise, etc.
  • Old Town
Our tour will take us off the beaten path to some small alleys and not-so-busy streets of the Old Town. You will hear a story about one of the first orphanages in the world, 16th-century graffiti on one of the walls, about political, social, and diplomatic challenges Dubrovnik has faced over centuries. There are still local people living inside City Walls, and you will hear about how people used to live in Dubrovnik centuries ago and what living inside the Old Town looks like today.
  • Gunduliceva Poljana Market
On Gundulić Square we will be able to explore the vivid and charming local market. People sell produce, lavender, hand-made things, traditional sweets, etc. In addition, you will hear about local customs and traditions.
  • Rector's Palace
Rector's Palace is a cultural history museum today, but centuries ago, it used to be the City's political center. How was the rector elected, and what was special about the government of the Republic?
  • Old Port is where you can still find local fishermen returning from the sea with small boats and fresh fish. At this location, we will talk about the importance of maritime trade for Dubrovnik, salt production, and the world's first quarantine system.
