Overview
This is your magical one day retreat on vacation! A day of wellness combining yoga, waterfalls, blue clay experience and a unique cultural lunch in a local woman's home. This an opportunity to visit an area that is close to Manuel Antonio but feels so far away. This excursion is off the beaten path and the intention is to experience the rainforest without the hustle and bustle or crowds you can get elsewhere. We are committed to supporting the locals who have maintained a simple lifestyle in the countryside by sharing meals in their homes. Chorro Ecolodge is a family run place that makes you feel at ease and at peace in nature. It has a stunning rancho with a yoga platform overlooking the Naranjo River and you can take a plunge in the waterfall while listening to Toucans and observing the blue morpho butterflies!

We will pick you up from your hotel or villa and transport you about 30 minutes into the mountains just outside of Manuel Antonio. Upon arrival to the privately owned Chorro Ecolodge, you will have a private yoga class on an elevated platform in the rainforest overlooking the Naranjo River. The sounds of the birds and forest creatures and the flowing river will ease you into a relaxed and peaceful place. After yoga, have some juicy fresh fruit and then cool off in the refreshing waterfall at Chorro Lodge where we'll supply VIDA blue clay for your own "avatar" moment of healing and therapeutic relief. Then head to our neighbor and dear friend's house where Doña Luz will prepare some delicious Costa Rican fare. She loves company and is happy to teach you how to make her scrumptious corn tortillas!
